The 2 best photography books I've ever bought

First is Christopher Grey's newest book. I have long been a fan of Mr. Grey's writing and photography, I have several of his books. This book is his best in my opinion, at least it made the biggest impact on me. The chapter on metering makes this book worth the price for me! I had been struggling with my light meter but now it all makes sense to me after reading this chapter. And I now have a calibrated meter! The rest of the book is just full of excellent information, this is a must read for studio photographers. Thanks Christopher!!

Christopher Grey's Studio Lighting Techniques for Photography: Tricks of the Trade for Professional Digital Photographers

Second is a book that Christopher Grey recommended on his blog, so I got it too and Mr. Grey was correct. This book is excellent.

Portrait Lighting for Digital Photographers: The Basics and Beyond

In this book I really like the way that the author has explained the "quality of light" and the examples he uses to show the effects of different modifiers and their placement. Here is a quote from Stephen's website describing the book. Christopher Grey's recommendation of this book can be seen here.
