I had one of these handy devices and recently ran into a situation where I needed a second one. So now I have a second one. These slaves are very nice to have in the bag for those situtations where you need a little accent light.

parade preparation
Well my new (to me) Canon 50D and I where downtown walking around as the annual Labor Day Parade was getting organized.
The 50D is the perfect compliment to my 7D (which has the telephoto lens on it).
Once again a big thank you to the fine folks at B&H Photos, Used Department. Thanks to them I can now send my 40D in to Canon to have the shutter repaired (and get a good cleaning).

Viveza 2 edit

I took this photo Saturday morning. This building is one of my favorite to photograph, particularly in the morning light. The combination of colors just really catches my eye.
But I was still not satisfied with the way it looked so I tweaked it a little in Viveza 2, I made some adjustments to make the trim and brick jump out a little more. Canon EOS 50D
